Thrown, altered and assembled, this piece is inspired by ancient Islamic and Korean forms. Historically this form was used as a watering vessel with the lugs placed to allow for ease while pouring and storing the vessel. It was fired in a reduction atmosphere, creating the most variation in the surface. On the front is an image of the Seed of Life, an ancient symbol for creation.
