Sacred Hands

Slumped formed, this piece is covered with a purple crystal glaze. Crystal glazes are very difficult to work with and require a completely different firing cycle than normal glazes. While all glazes crystallize in the firing process, this particular formula visually recreates the process of crystals growing within the Earth. This is a most complicated process to work with, although it is definitely the most rewarding.
